‘I’m sorry’ – Abeiku Santana apologizes; Mzbel drops new single, ‘Asibolanga’

Ace radio presenter Abeiku Aggrey Santana has apologized to Ghanaian highlife musician Mzbel for calling her a former artiste.

The host of the Okay FM Drivetime show declared on live radio that Mzbel was past her prime in the music industry. Whilst interviewing Chief One, a fast-rising musician popularizing the Ewe language, Abeiku Santat asked which artiste he would love to feature.

But Chief One’s response did please Abeiku after responding that he will love to have a feature from Mzbel. To which Abeiku Santana asked, “…the former artiste?”

This did not please Mzbel fans, who dragged the broadcaster online for unceremoniously targetting Mzbel. Others who joined in with videos insulting Abeiku Santana included Nana Tornado, Mzbel’s best friend.

On the lighter side, Mzbel has released her anticipated single, ‘Asibolanga’, on Youtube, clocking over 30k views in just 10 hours.
