Judokas between the ages of 4 and 17 years also took to the mats and showcased their skills and techniques. The seniors were not left out as they also competed for honors.

The second day had Karatekas also taken their turn. The Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency, Hiroshi Yoshimoto, was happy at the quality displayed. He promised his outfit’s readiness to support and promote the three disciplines in the country.

Outstanding athletes were recognized with certificates and medals. Officials were not left out as they were also acknowledged. Some athletes were happy at the opportunity to showcase their talents. The President of Ghana Karate Association, Mr. Nathaniel Johnson said the championship was one of their test events to select athletes to form the core of the national team.
