ACCRA: GREATER ACCRA VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE WEEK-5

The El-Wak Sports Stadium hosted the Greater Accra Volleyball Association League Week 5 matches.

In one of the high-profile games, El-Wak Wings Men’s welcomed debutants Kalibi. Kalibi made a strong start, challenging the Wings in the first set.

Both teams fiercely contested the set, but it was the Wings side that won it 25-20. El-Wak Wings continued their dominance in the second set. They won 25-16.

In the third set, Kalibi adjusted their game plan, but the experienced El-Wak Wings side beat them again 25-18, completing a 3-0 victory over the newcomers. Captain of El-Wak Wings men, Ishmeal Zorku said the win was a morale boosting one.

Week six of the league is set for Friday April 4, 2025.
