The Office of the President has announced the immediate revocation of Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Minerals Income and Investment Fund.
The decision was communicated through a letter dated January 13, 2025, signed by Callistus Mahama, Ph.D., Secretary to the President.
The letter instructed Mr. Koranteng to hand over his responsibilities to the President’s representative at the Ministry of Finance, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson.
Dr. Forson will oversee the fund’s operations until a substantive CEO is appointed.
The President expressed gratitude to Mr. Koranteng for his service to the nation.
